Percy

Chicago native Percy has one ambition and one ambition only: to be the world's next hit singer and songwriter. His mother claims that he learned to sing before he learned to walk, and since then he's done nothing but eat, sleep, and practice, learning as many instruments as possible to prepare for the big day that he got a record deal! He has something original, something real good, and nobody reminds him of this better than his beautiful fiance and manager Gale. With her help, he's certain to see his lifelong dream to fruition.

Late at night, however, he's haunted by that same scary possibility: what if it doesn't work? What if they all turn him down? What if he's simply... not good enough? He was always a bit of the sensitive type, crying at anything from old crushes rejecting him to peers merely critiquing his lyrics. In his mind, he can only be one of two things: a perfect musical genius or a worthless failure. There's no in-between.

And so, he works at nothing else, desperate to make himself known. L.A. could very well be his ticket to success. Just find some club that'll let him perform, do some commercials, sell some merchandise, and the record producers will come crawling to his feet! Or so Gale tells him and she's never been wrong before.
