Gale
The enchanting fiance and manager of the aspiring singer Percy, Gale seems to have the solution to every problem, perfectly composed, put-together, and knowledgable on all of the workings of the music business. She is also always covered head-to-toe in expensive jewelry. Quite comfortably, she'll reminise on the first pearl necklace she recieved from her mother as a young girl. After her mother's death, she found herself with a great sum of money and was determined to invest it through Percy's inevitable success.
But beneath the collected interior is a constant hunger for more- more money, more jewelry, more expensive clothes, more gratification. Although her giant travelling walk-in closet is already a dragon's lair, she never feels like she has enough and this insatiable need to own every shiny thing she lays her eyes on. At the same time, however, she is terrified of losing what she already has, constantly one missing earring away from going into a frenzy that Percy can only calm down by gifting her a new diamond necklace himself.
As much as she clings to the idea of throwing nothing away, she fails to see how she's throwing her own love life away. For while it may seem to her the least of her problems, she doesn't actually love Percy. In fact, she thinks his ambitions to be naive and childish, but it's these ambitions that she must fan the flames of. If they're able to snag just one producer in L.A., she may be secure for life. And they say that money doesn't buy happiness... bah!
