Eleanor

On the outside, Eleanor seems like a piece of the background. She's short, not exactly flashy or overtly attractive, and rarely speaks. But she is always watching with those large, sad eyes. The only things about herself that she'll give away are her many wishes. "I wish I was as pretty as her", "I wish I had that dress", "I wish I had curly hair"- once she starts, she can't stop. She has a skill for deflecting compliments and turning the conversation away from herself.

It's not hard to guess why that is. Ever since she was a little girl, Eleanor wanted to be somebody else. Something always seemed inherently wrong with her and she constantly daydreamed different women with unique personalities and features, women that she would immediately turn herself into if given the chance. Manifesting these women hard enough, she slowly began to lose sight of who she really was or what she wanted beyond satisfaction with what she saw in the mirror. Unsurprisingly, she also went through many different names and styles over the years and it's not certain if "Eleanor" is even her real name.

This particular weekend, however, she's going under the radar at first, searching the underbelly of L.A. to find the perfect model under the guise of "research". She'll hide her southern accent, her crooked teeth, her squeaky laugh. But that's far from all that she'll do in order to finally become, in her eyes, someone worth a passing glance.
